What is Plain Washer?
Plain Washer is a thin plate (typically disk-shaped, but sometimes square) with a hole that is normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener, such as a bolt or nut. Additionally, a plain washer may be used when the hole is a larger diameter than the fixing nuts. Specifications for standard metric flat washers were known as DIN 125 and replaced with ISO 7098.
