What is square washers?
Square washers are a thin square plate with a hole that is normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener, such as a bolt or nut. Applications
Washers are placed on a bolt between the nut (on the threaded end) and the bolt head to distribute the load of a threaded fastener. Other uses are as a spacer,spring, wear pad, preload indicating device,locking device, and to reduce vibration.
